An Early September Holiday Recap

Here we are in the month of September, and how we came to be here feels like a mystery – it was only turning into June when last I checked – now we’ve reached the final weeks of summer, and the unofficial end of the season with Labor Day’s arrival. Time to take stock of the week that came before in our weekly blog recap… and prepare the way for fall.

It began with a matcha and a realization.

September came too soon, a problem nobody wants to have.

Children, cover your ears – his WHAT?!?

Harry Styles, shirtless and edited apparently.

Tom Ford’s Noir Extreme expertly bridges the space between summer and fall.

My now-unfortunate initials will haunt me until the day I die because AI isn’t going away anytime soon.

Our lone Dazzler of the Day was Brad Goreski.

Candles in the rain amid contemplation.

When the music hypnotizes, something deeper is at work.

A smattering of shirtless gentlemen, the way we used to do it here.

Into Gold by way of London Grammar, as our Solid Gold Summer limps into its final days.

The transitional journey from summer into fall is usually a mixed bag of emotions, and I have way too many bags these days.

Tom Ford gives chocolate a try and now all I want to do is taste it.

Preparing the magical way that only witches might tread.

The last golden dance of summer, with glasses on because I can’t be bothered.

A ginger scone break in-between dances.

The other last dance closes out the week, and the unofficial summer season.
