Coming in just under the wire, and mostly due to my own complete ignorance of what’s musically hitting these days, this is ‘No Broke Boys’ – a contender for the song of the summer, and I couldn’t even tell you why. Is this what amounts to a summer song these days? While at odds with the musical vibe of our Summer Island theme, it does have the silly lightweight ear-candy elements that makes a proper summer song.
