It’s not often that I get to actually meet a Hunk of the Day (in fact, there are only
two three that I’ve shook hands with in real-life: Christian, the unforgettable Skip, and Andy (and I’ve shook more than hands with the latter). This time around, I’ve met the featured Hunk – Jonathan Nason. He works in Ogunquit, so for the past few years he has served me libations at The Front Porch. Recently, he was crowned Mr. Ogunquit, and these photos should give a pretty powerful indication as to why.
A native of Maine, Mr. Nason was born in the small town of Hiram, where he started off working at his father’s construction company. After tiring of construction, he made his way to Ogunquit, and The Front Porch, where he has been working ever since. While he enjoys the atmosphere and social aspect of the job, his true passion seems to reside in art and all its forms, and he finds a creative outlet by expressing himself through drawing and painting (as seen below.) As for his recent crowning as Mr. Ogunquit, Mr. Nason joins a long line of illustrious hunks who have been gracing the beaches of Ogunquit for over thirty years. Stop by The Front Porch, or the beach, before the season ends to see him in action.Back to Blog
