Rocking Christian Audigier
This is a pair of Christian Audigier sneakers that I purchased a year ago. I was a fan at the time, but that was before Mr. Audigier (a.k.a. Ed Hardy) allowed that Jon Gosselin character to hitch a ride. Now I’m not so sure. Ed Hardy crap is everywhere and hence has lost much of its allure for me. The one thing that may get these back on my feet is the fact that Madonna is supposedly teaming up with Audigier for a fashion line in the near future. (Which in my humble opinion is a huge step down from her usual perch… but I guess it still beats the Gap.)

At the risk of being banned or jumped while walking down a dark alley, you do realize that Madonna is no longer relevant. Her last good song was “Music” and that’s 10 years old. She’s a hypocrite who won’t allow her children to watch television because it is a corrupting force. Who does she think is responsible for television corrupting people? Her next role will be the real life version of Nora Desmond. I think Lady Gaga is a much younger, more talented,(because she write her own music) version of Madonna.
My apologizes to Andy because I could see the blood draining from your face and you being in foul mood the rest of the year.

I would never ban anyone from giving their opinion, even if I disagreed. When Madonna is truly irrelevant, we won’t be talking about her.

I did notice that you didn’t mention not beating someone who badmouths Madonna. You must admit that in the 1980s she was a cultural icon who’s fashion sense influenced the world and made not showering an in thing.

I’d MUCH rather she team up with GAP – or Ann Taylor, or even Sears – than Ed Hardy or “CA.” Could the brand be more contrived? Not possible. Aside from that it’s just ugly, and been done a million times for the last ten years…
