One Whole Winter in 3 Days
Another night of snow, sleet, ice, and rain – all of which continues into the day as I write this. It seems we have fit an entire winter of rotten weather into three long days, and it has me feeling like a caged tiger since I’ve been house-bound for far longer than is good for anyone.
I did manage to step onto the front porch and get a few more shots of the snowy eve. There is something so eerie about the way the sky comes out in these photos.
The one bit of solace I’ve found in all of this is the way the snow nestles on the horizontal branches of the Japanese maple and viburnum. It is almost – almost – enough to make it all right.
