Gratuitous Male Nudity
Shirtless guys, hot gay men, bulge alert, guys in underwear, David Beckham, Josh Duhamel, Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal, Brad Pitt – these are what I would expect the spam to be about on this site. Instead, I get a selection of nonsensical posts like this:
“Super Blog, Bro! I am always on the watch for new and interesting sports sites and info… which is what led me here. I certainly plan on visiting again! Cheers”
Or this (which might have made sense if I had dated a woman in the past 15 years):
“Still, if you are unsure about which type of lingerie to get her for valentine there is one more way of addressing this problem. Simply buy the lingerie with her. Shopping for lingerie together is a fun and romantic experience that you and your partner can share. Browse through different shops in search of that perfect outfit for her. She will love you for making the offer and for considering her sexy.”
It’s slightly more entertaining (if infuriating) when they write something totally unrelated to the post they’re “commenting” on:
“I have learned so much from this post. Great information like this normally doesnt come free. Thanks for sharing with everyone else.” This was for a post that featured photos of Christmas ornaments. No words, no info, just photos. Of Christmas ornaments.
And finally, this response on a post featuring a picture of me in the winter, bundled up in a coat and scarf: “There are a few very good issues raised here. Generally, I am not awfully keen on politics. But, at times we all have to pause for thought. Worthy of note, thanks.”
Huh? Still, it beats a few of the scuzzier stuff that I will not post… But just to prove I’m a sport, here’s a shirtless, gratuitous bone to give you further pause for thought. It’s a vintage pic by now (as my waist has expanded and my hair is sprinkled with more and more gray every day).

hhhmmmm… you should notify your blog hosting platform when you get spam. It will help them track where it’s coming from, and hopefully reduce further occurences. I rarely get spam on mine.
