It is occasionally brought to my attention that this website is banned from certain places because of its “Adult Content” – which is always puzzling to me, because there has never been full-frontal male or female nudity. The word “fuck” does get uttered more than I’d like to admit, but only when I’m really mad or trying (and more often failing) to be funny. So why the “Adult content” label?

Let me say right off that it doesn’t bother me – hell, I’d be disappointed if this wasn’t the case – it’s more that I really don’t understand why. I’ve seen much more gratuitous and blatant nudity and sexually-explicit stuff on MySpace and FaceBook, but those aren’t considered “Adult” sites.

Is it a gay thing? I doubt it – I don’t even think anyone knows I’m fucking gay. (See above for f-word and joking.)

Maybe it’s the butt shots, but those are also intended in a funny way, and I still think they would only merit a PG-13 at the most, not the Triple X that this site seems to be stuck with. Besides, if it’s black-and-white it’s art, not porn.

Whatever the case, I’m not about to clean-up the smut. Anything that keeps the under-21 crowd out is fine by me. This has never been a democracy, and it’s not about to be.
