This was written by Christopher Isherwood(&quot;A Single Man&quot;) and is largely autobiographical. Since this experience is still so fresh in your mind, I&#039;d like to recommend the DVD &quot;Christopher And His Kind&quot; with Matt Smith(&quot;Dr. Who&quot;). Fascinating film which takes you through the decadent cabaret scene of 1930&#039;s Berlin.</description>
